Sri Lankan Zahira College is celebrating its centenary in 2024 and is hosting the Zahira Rugby Centenary 7s Tournament 2024 from March 2-3 at the Race Course International Stadium.
Following news earlier in 2024, that Zahira had signed on as a Leicester Tigers Global Partner Club, and recently having former Wallaby and Rugby World Cup-winning David Campese visit them, attention now turns to the 7s tournament.
Among the prizes on offer are Rs.2.5 million cash award (approximately USD $8,000) to the winner and the Player of the Series will be presented with an electric bike courtesy.
