Wuhan Sino 10s Rugby 2021
The Wuhan Sino 10s 2021 social rugby tournament is taking place on 17th April at the Hanwei (Guanggu) Football Park 汉为光谷足球公园 in China. This rugby tournament is usually is part of a number of Tens events that form the Sino Tens.
This is the first time the tournament has been held since November 2019, due to the interruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Wuhan Baiji Rugby Club, Jade Liu, John Sullivan, and Jeremy Loste organise the tournament.
What teams are playing at the Wuhan Sino Tens Rugby Tournament 2021?
There will be four rugby teams participating in the tournament in Wuhan and games will be played from 9 AM – 4 PM.
- Wuhan Baiji Rugby Club
- Shanghai RFC
- Changzhou Giants
- West China Barbarian Team (made up of players from Kunming, Chongqing and other clubs in China)
The tournament has been made possible through a number of sponsors and is supported by the UK Consulate, Wuhan Social, Wuhan GanLanQiu Association 武汉橄榄球协会.
As is to be expected with social tournaments across Asia, there is an after-party tournament event being held at Texas Saloon.
