Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 Tickets Details Announced

World Rugby has announced details of the more than 400,000 Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 tickets, with the opening match and final tickets going on sale in September 2024. More has been announced of the host venue match days and where the quarterfinal and semifinals will be played.

The sports’s governing body said, ‘Fans can now start to plan for what promises to be the biggest-ever global celebration of women’s rugby,” with the event expected to be the biggest and most accessible Women’s Rugby World Cup ever and “unprecedented demand expected” for England 2025’s opening match and final.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 will be played across six weekends from 22 August to 27 September, with the world’s 16 best teams competing at eight locations.

It was also announced that Exeter and Bristol will host the quarter-finals at RWC 2025, and Bristol will host both semi-finals.

World Rugby Chairman Sir Bill Beaumont said: “This announcement marks an exciting milestone for the tournament and one that will enable fans to mark their diaries and make plans with their friends, families and teammates.  We are pleased that the tournament will not only be the most accessible Women’s Rugby World Cup geographically, but also matched with the accessibility of entry-price tickets ensuring more fans than ever will be able to attend this generational moment for rugby.”

Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 Tickets

More than 400,000 tickets will be available for the 10th edition of the women’s Rugby World Cup, which kicks off at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on 22 August, and the final will be played at the world’s largest dedicated rugby union venue, Twickenham Stadium, London.

There will be more than double the number of tickets available in 2025 compared to RWC 2021 (played in 2022) in New Zealand.

• 95 per cent of the population are within two hours of travel time to a venue.

Fans can register for free online to enter the presale on 24 September to ensure they are among the first to secure their place at the opening match and the highly anticipated final at Twickenham Stadium –Fans can register their interest here.

RWC 2025 Venue & Match Days

Six of the eight host locations for Rugby World Cup 2025 will hold pool matches over three weekends.

1. Sunderland (Stadium of Light)
2. Brighton and Hove (Brighton and Hove Albion Stadium)
3. Exeter (Sandy Park)
4. Manchester (Salford Community Stadium)
5. Northampton (Franklin’s Gardens)
6. York (York Community Stadium).

Exeter and Bristol (Ashton Gate Stadium) will host the quarter-finals on the weekend of 13 September, with the latter also hosting both semi-finals on the weekend of 19 September. Twickenham in London hosts the final.
