Two Labuan Rugby Festivals confirmed in 2019

Two more rugby festivals have been confirmed to take place in Malaysia, both in Labuan. The Labuan Women’s Rugby 7s Open is scheduled for the 27th April while the Labuan Rugby Carnival is penciled in for the weekend of 28th-29th September 2019.

Malaysia has a huge number of rugby events taking place throughout the country from youth level to veterans. The Women’s Rugby 7s Open is limited to 12 teams and is a one-day affair. The larger Labuan Rugby Carnival takes place over two days and sees men’s, women’s and veterans 10s rugby categories. In addition, U18 boys and girls 7s will also take place at the carnival. The Labuan Rugby Carnival is limited to 48 teams total.
