Following the announcement of the new date of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong 7’s in November 2021, the Tanner De Witt Kowloon RugbyFest 2021 has confirmed it will take place on Thursday 4th November 2021.
The long-running social tens rugby tournament did not go ahead in 2020, despite being moved from April to October due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Tanner De Witt Kowloon RugbyFest
The RugbyFest Tens had provisionally been set for April 1 2021.
This week the organisers announced that for 2021 they are optimistic the tens rugby tournament will go ahead. “It’s official. We are excited to confirm that the Tanner De Witt Kowloon RugbyFest tournament will now take place on Thursday 4th November 2021 and we can’t wait to see you there! We are grateful for your ongoing commitment to Kowloon RugbyFest as we begin preparations for hosting “probably one of the best social tournaments in the world’ in November 2021!”
The tournament is usually open to 24 Men’s teams and 8 women’s teams and the matches are played on 2-3 fields at Kings Park, with no half time breaks in the tens rugby format
