Tabanan Rugby 7s Tournament: results

The Tabanan Rugby 7s Tournament took place in Indonesia on Saturday, 13 April 2019 which features 6 men’s and 5 women’s rugby teams.

According to the Indonesia Rugby website, the tournament is the second as part of six tournaments which form the Bali Rugby 7s Series 2019. This is held in the build-up to the Provincial Games which are due to be held in September 2019.

According to the website, the 7s Series is also being held as an opportunity for Bali to prepare for the National Sports Games to be held in Papua in 2020.

The Tabanan Thunders managed to secure both the men’s and women’s titles. The Gianyar Young Lions and Rugby Buleleng took 2nd and 3rd place respectively in both categories.
