Singapore Women’s Super League 2020
Singapore Rugby Union (SRU) has released details on the upcoming Women’s Super League to take place in March and April 2020.
What is the Singapore Women’s Super League?
According to a post from Singapore Rugby, “the competition will feature all female players available in Singapore, split into 2 squads. Players will get the opportunity to mix with ladies from different clubs and learn from new coaches to expand their perspectives & skill sets, which will, in turn, make the community stronger.”
The players will train together for 3 weeks and end up playing two competitive rugby match days for the Women’s Super League.
In addition, Singapore National Team Head Coach, Simon Mannix, will spend equal time with both squads’ training sessions to “provide a new style of expert coaching.”
SRU says more information will be provided in the lead up to the first matchday

It is unclear whether recent coronavirus restrictions will impact on this.
