Phuket International Tens 2019: teams confirmed

The Phuket International Tens 2019 is fast approaching and the organisers have released the list of teams confirmed so far for the event taking place from 24-26 May 2019.

This will be the 21st edition of the Phuket International Rugby 10s and the ladies section has expanded this year to 8 teams. The Men’s section includes 16 teams while the 2 sections of Vets rugby have a strong representation with over 35s (12 teams) and over 45s (8 teams).

The tournament also supports the Asia center Foundation Scholarship program. The organisers said it has “achieved some incredible milestones during the last 20 years or so with the generosity of the rugby community not least the building of their own flagship school building & safe house for abused & underprivileged children. The Bangers on Bikes will be doing their 10th-anniversary bike ride also to raise funds for the ACF.”

The famous Tour Virgin beauty Pageant will take place on Saturday night. The venue fields an all-weather World Rugby accredited pitch with medical services on hand.
