One More Round – Tsunami & ChildFund Rugby Team Up
Tsunami has confirmed during the week of the Hong Kong Rugby 7s that they have launched a programme called “One More Round” with ChildFund and DHL to encourage Hong Kong rugby players to return their Tsunami kits from the previous season which will be donated to players in Tonga.
One More Round
The rugby clothing will be “given new lives with teams abroad” through the partnership with ChildFund Rugby, with DHL assisting in the distribution of team kit donations in the Pacific, “where rugby has become a huge part of life and enjoyment in communities said the apparel manufacturer.
They added “The meaning behind One More Round is to benefit both adults and kids in sport by providing them with kit, while at the same time extending the life-cycle of products and preventing them from going into landfills. At Tsunami we are always looking for ways to make our products more and more sustainable, and giving them a second life is the ultimate way of doing so.”
ChildFund Rugby has programmes and partners across the globe and both believe in building “a strong community team identity is an important part of building a platform where sport can positively impact everyone.”

Tsunami Sport – B-Corp Certifiied
The sports apparel company also announced that it is now B-Corp certified with Founder and CEO Andrew Chambers saying online: “It feels fitting that in our 20th Year, we have our work recognised in the areas that have been core pillars of our business. BCorp has been a Standard that we have been seeking to benchmark our progress in delivering our environmental goals. But also to ensure that we are delivering across a multitude of aspects of running a business in the best manner possible.
This process was as much about celebrating all that we do good as it was about seeing where we could improve. This mindset has been vital in being able to attain BCorp. But also to lead within our industry and drive change since 2003.”
Certified B Corporations, or B ]-Corps, are companies verified to meet “high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability” – the news is also important as it sees the brand become the first B-Corp in sportswear.
