Official Gilbert Rugby World Cup 2021 match ball
The Rugby World Cup 2021 match ball has been unveiled by World Rugby and Gilbert – the match ball design embodies the unique RWC 2021 brand identity.
Gilbert has supplied the match balls to every women’s rugby world cup tournament since 1991. However, RWC 2021 will be the first time that Gilbert will offer a full range of replica and supporter products.
The draw for the RWC 2021 in New Zealand also takes place this week Friday.

World Rugby Chairman Sir Bill Beaumont said: “We are delighted to mark another important milestone with the unveiling of the official Rugby World Cup 2021 ball with our partner Gilbert, a longstanding supporter of the women’s game.”
In a statement, World Rugby said the design of the RWC 2021 match ball took “inspiration from the vitality and connectivity of the RWC 2021 brand, the ball design works seamlessly to showcase an unstoppable energy, with key single colour focal points on either end to encourage player performance.”
The Gilbert Rugby World Cup 2021 ball also features unique elements from the tournament’s brand look and feel which integrates the RipoRipo graphic. The RipoRipo carries cultural significance in New Zealand, representing the water and the land.

Rugby World Cup 2021 Draw
World Rugby, and hosts New Zealand Rugby (NZR), will complete the Rugby World Cup 2021 draw on Friday, 20 November 2020, and it will take place in Auckland, New Zealand.
The draw for the global rugby tournament will be held at the SkyCity Theatre and will be streamed live for rugby fans worldwide via World Rugby’s digital channels said World Rugby.
The women’s Rugby World Cup 2021 kicks off on September 18th 2021 at Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand.
