New Territories Regional Rugby 7s Championship

The 8th New Territories Regional Rugby 7s Championship in Hong Kong have been unveiled on the HKRU Facebook page.

Which rugby 7s teams are playing?

These rugby championships are targeted at local players in HK, who have the opportunity to represent their district of residence. There will be 7 men’s 7s rugby teams and 5 women’s rugby teams at the 8th New Territories Regional Rugby 7s Championship:

• Sai Kung
• Island (men only)
• North District
• Sha Tin
• Yuen Long
• Tai Po
• Tsuen Wan (men only)

Interested rugby players can register until the 18th August 2019.  Players need to be 18 years of age or older, and have HK residence, working or studying.

In the 2018 edition of the Championship, 9 teams/districts were represented.

• Venue: Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, Hong Kong
• Date: 1st September 2019 (09.00 – 18.00)

The Hong Kong Rugby Union is hosting an England Rugby Dinner on October 17th and the Race to RWC 2019 Dinner on August 23rd.
