JRFU busy rugby Test schedule for summer 2019
The Japanese Rugby Football Union has a busy XVs Test match schedule over the Summer of 2019 with both women’s and men’s teams in action.
The JRFU men’s national team “Brave Blossoms” take on Fiji, Tonga and South Africa in Japan while the Japan ladies XV, as previously reported by us, head to Australia for a two-match series against the Wallaroos.
The Brave Blossoms are of course using the games as preparation for the Rugby World Cup 2019. The team is in Pool A with Scotland, Ireland, Russia and Samoa. The Japanese team play the opening game of the World Cup on Friday 20th September against Russia.

Test 1 Japan vs Fiji

Test 2 Japan vs Tonga
- Date: August 3rd 2019
- Venue: Hanazono , Japan 7.10pm (local time)
Test 3 Japan vs South Africa
- Date: September 6th 2019
- Venue: Kumagaya, Japan 7.15pm (local time)
