As we previously reported in our 2025 social tournament guide, the Jakarta Rugby 10s 2025 will be played on May 17 2025, with the one-day Indonesian rugby tournament open to Men’s and Vets 10s as well as Women’s Open 7s teams.
The tournament is hosted by the Jakarta Komodo’s RFC (JKRFC) and supported by Persatuan Rugby Union Indonesia.
Kyle Larson (Chairman JKRFC) said “With the enormous success and massive growth of last year’s APAC Assistance Jakarta Rugby 10’s 2024, we are pleased to confirm we will be expanding to larger pools for this year’s Jakarta Rugby 10’s 2025, to be held on May 17, 2025, again at GBK Rugby Field (same ground as Asian Games 2018 and Asia Rugby 7s 2019 and 2022).”
The tournament is set to offer plenty of rugby on the field, while food, ice cold drinks, music “and an excellent night out after in Jakarta” is promised for those in attendance.

Larson added for teams looking to enter, “Continuing our tradition of hosting the best One Day Tournament around, we anticipate that spots will be filled fast.”
Rugby teams from Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and the Middle East are expected to attend the Jakarta Rugby 10’s 2025.
Registration forms are set to be available soon with details on Early Bird Pricing and deposit required to secure a spot.
