INEOS Signs as Official Sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2021

British multinational chemicals company INEOS has signed on as an official sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2021, which takes place in New Zealand in 2022.

INEOS already has a sponsorship portfolio which also includes New Zealand Rugby’s (NZR) seven teams, as well Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team; INEOS Grenadiers cycling team; INEOS Britannia sailing team; and football clubs OGC Nice and FC Lausanne-Sport.

“New Zealand’s rugby culture is unique, and this tournament will showcase excellence in women’s rugby in front of some of the most passionate fans in the world, and at the same time, no doubt help inspire many people across the world to take up the sport. INEOS are very pleased to be partners in this celebration of elite sport.”

Rugby World Cup 2021 is taking place in New Zealand from 8th October to 12th November, with Japan the only Asian representation. Other confirmed sponsors include Canon and DHL while ChildFund is the official charitable partner of the showpiece event.
