HSBC Canada Women’s Sevens ready to go
The HSBC Canada Women’s Sevens is set to kick off in Langford this weekend for the 5th round of the Sevens World Series.
The last round in Japan (Kitakyushu) saw a number of upsets, with neither NZ or Australia making the final and Canada securing the Cup in the last play of the game against England.

New Zealand currently leads the series with 72 points, followed by Canada (66), USA (64) and Australia (56). The chasing pack consist of France (46), Ireland (38) and England (37). Canada will be hoping to secure their first title on home soil and will be in a buoyant mood after the win in Japan.
