Hong Kong Dragons celebrate 30 years
In celebration of the Hong Kong Dragons 30th anniversary, the team have assembled a tour to the Philippines from the 12-24th April 2019.
Hong Kong Dragons history
The Hong Kong Dragons (later known as the Hong Kong Asian Dragons) were established in 1989 to recognize and train a group of both Asian & Chinese players able to represent Hong Kong on the national stage according to a recent statement by the HKRU.
During the early 1990s, the team toured throughout Asia, including stops in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. One memorable tour encompassed a total of 14 days, six 15-a-side matches, with 5 wins and a 3 point loss against the Thailand National team.
