Details for the Hong Kong 2021 Summer Touch Rugby League have been released by the HKRU and all open touch teams can register their interest for the season taking place in July 2021.
The Hong Kong Rugby Union posted online “Calling all Touch Teams! The 2021 Summer Touch League (Open Division) is now open for application!”
The touch games in the Open Division will be played at the Kings Park sports ground on Saturdays.
HK 2021 Summer Touch League Details
There appear to be limited spots for the touch rugby teams to enter and the application needs to be completed by May 27, 2021.
- Team Entry fee: HKD2400 / team (including 36 HKTA player registrations)
- Open Division Date: July 2021
- Elite players an not play in the Open Division league.
- Players cannot play in different categories within the same Division.
The organisers have noted that if the “event becomes oversubscribed within the Open Categories (Men, Women, and Mixed) the HKTA will initiate a PUBLIC BALLOT.”

- Mixed Touch Rugby Teams: 24
- Men’s Touch Rugby Teams: 20
- Women Touch Rugby Teams: 20
