HKRU 2022/23 Premiership Rugby Seasons Get Underway

The Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) launched their 2022/2023 domestic seasons this week with Nan Fung Group/SEWIT sponsoring the Premiership.
The HKRU posted “We are thrilled to be welcoming Nan Fung Group/SEWIT to the HKRU family, with support from Prezitt, Asphodel Fitness, and Cluch TV.” The title sponsors have signed on for three years and the season will get underway on Saturday 1st October 2022.
Vanessa Cheung, Group Managing Director of Nan Fung Group said at the season launch held at HKFC “It is an honour for Nan Fung Group and SEWIT to partner with Hong Kong Ruby Union to support Hong Kong Premiership 2022. As a company that aspires to ‘Do Well and Do Good’, Nan Fung Group is committed to investing in communities and the environment, and strongly believes that maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle is a basic human necessity.”
Two additional supporting partners are Prezitt (a gifting app), and Asphodel Fitness, which will support the Union with “strength, conditioning, and prizes throughout the season.”

The Nan Fung | SEWIT Women’s Hong Kong Premiership features 6 women’s teams – DAC Kowloon RFC Ladies, Gai Wu Falcons, Kroll USRC Tigers RFC Ladies, Natixis Hong Kong Football Club Ice, SCAA First Pacific CWB Phoenix and Societe Generale Valley RFC Black Ladies.
Saturday, October 1st 2022 – So Kon Po
- Gai Wu vs Kowloon 4.30pm
- Causeway Bay vs Valley 6pm
Saturday, October 1st 2022 – HKFC
- HKFC vs Tigers 6pm

How to watch the HKRU 2022-2023 Domestic Rugby Season
HKRU announced that all Premiership games will be streamed on Cluch TV, adding “we are pleased to be offering such a professional and rugby-orientated platform for rugby fans to watch.”
