Gilbert Rugby and Thailand Rugby Union announce deal

Gilbert Rugby Southeast Asia and the Thai Rugby Union have announced a partnership for the popular ball
manufacturer to be the official ball of the TRU for at least a few years.

The Thailand Rugby Union has a range of rugby activities and leagues from university to its national teams, most notably the Thai national 7s women’s and men’s teams. In addition, Gilbert Rugby Southeast Asia has supported a number of rugby unions in Asia and sets to continue its expansion.

In a Facebook statement, Gilbert said ‘Very humbled to announce our new collaboration with the Kingdom of Thailand. For the next few years, GILBERT RUGBY will be the Official Ball of Thailand Rugby Union! Teams will be able to order a range of Gilbert equipment directly from the union very soon.”

Three Gilbert match and training rugby balls were also posted.
