Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2019 set for Hong Kong Stadium
The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2019 is ready to rumble at the Hpng Kong Stadium after an incredibly busy week of build up.
The Mens and Womens 7s captains of the hopeful qualification nations, as well as the core member World Series 7s Men’s series, have been fulfilling their duties this past week in Hong Kong and are ready to play at the Hong Kong Stadium.
The Women’s teams have already played their group games on Thursday 4th April while the men are set to start on Friday 5th April.

Women’s 7s Qualifiers in Hong Kong 2019
There are 12 women’s teams competing for the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series Qualifier in Hong Kong.
The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2019 Qualifier women’s teams
On Thursday 4th April the group stages were played which saw 4 teams eliminated and 8 moving on to the quarterfinal playoffs on Friday 5th April.
The teams that were knocked out were Belgium and Mexico (Group A), Uganda (Pool B), Poland (Pool C).
All of the Asian hopefuls are still in contention with Kazakhstan playing Brazil and Hong Kong facing Japan. Both of Hong Kong and Kazakhstan only won one of their three pool stages while Japan was unbeaten.
