Tickets Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2024
By December 2023, 65 per cent of stadium capacity tickets had been sold. and by the end of February, it was confirmed more than 100,000 tickers had been snapped up!
It’s anticipated to be a sellout as it’s the last time the 7s will be played at the current stadium and many people we have spoken to have expressed a desire to attend (better late than never) – expect the South Stand to be its usual messy and festive self – as diehard fans will send off the memorable seated area in style come April 2024!
The latest update in March 2024 suggested that over 85% of the total capacity of tickets had been sold based on the event’s seating configuration.
Robbie McRobbie, CEO of Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR) added, “We believe that the tournament is on track to return to its pre-pandemic sell out status and are confident to bid the Stadium a good farewell with another weekend of Hong Kong Sevens magic.”
All signs are pointing to a sell-out in Hong Kong in the days leading up to the tournament- with only 500 tickets remaining by the 2nd April 2024. There has been renewed interest amongst international visitors, with overseas ticket sales returning to over 40 per cent of totals in 2024, and strong demand from the UK, Australia and Fiji.
