The Cambodia Tens 2019 has confirmed the rugby teams for this weekend’s tournament in Phnom Penh from October 26-27. The two-day rugby tournament includes women’s, men’s and a veterans section.
Cambodia Tens 2019
The 10s tournament remains the biggest rugby tournament in the Kingdom of Cambodia, although in 2019 there are slightly fewer teams than normal, probably due to the Rugby World Cup being played.
RWC 2019
The semi-finals of RWC 2019 will be played on the afternoons of both days of the Cambodia Tens. As a result, the schedule has been altered to allow teams to watch the semi-final at the grounds on Saturday (NZ vs England). The tournament will have been completed by the second semi-final on Sunday (Wales vs South Africa).
Game formats
All of the group games for all divisions will be 8 minutes per half with the Cup finals games extended to 10-minute halves.

Women’s rugby teams
The four teams include sides from Cambodia and Vietnam.

There are ten men’s rugby teams competing in the tournament and the pools feature a number of previous winners. The group stages will be hotly contested. Teams come from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, and mixed barbarian rugby teams.

Old Boys rugby teams
The six Old Boys (over 35s) teams also have a fair few of previous winners of the Cambodia Tens. The Old Boys tournament is only played on Saturday.

Rugby Kick-Off Party
RugbyAsia247 have joined forced with Fuzzy Logic craft beer and The Outpost on 13 to host a Rugby Kick-off event on the Friday night of the Cambodia Tens and RWC semifinals weekend in Phnom Penh. There will be drink promotions and some giveaways. Rugby Wallets will also be available at the event.
