Beijing Cup final 2019

The Beijing Cup final 2019 was played over the weekend, as well as the 3rd-4th playoffs to conclude part of the ACC cup for the northern conference.

Beijing Cup 2019

The Beijing Devils Rugby Club, won the Beijing Cup Grand Final on Saturday 9th November, beating Beijing Aardvarks Rugby 18-17.

The Devils scored a try in the last minute to snatch victory against the Aardvarks. They said on their FB page “Staring down the barrel of defeat, the Devils showed incredible heart to score a last-minute try, courtesy of Dylan Parry, to secure an 18-17 victory! Huge thank you to the Aardvarks for an excellent final. Roll on Shanghai!”

The Beijing Ducks beat the Brothers in the 3rd-4th playoff with a 91-7 thumping.

As winners of the Beijing Cup, the Devils will play the winners of the Liaoning Cup, and Shandong Cup to determine who qualifies for the ACC Playoffs from the Northern China conference.

Jiangsu Cup 2019

The Jiangsu Cup Final will be played on the 23rd November 2019 with the Changzhou Giants taking on the Suzhou Late Knights. The final will be played at Dulwich College, Suzhou with a warm-up game between the Nanjing Rockets and Jiangsu RFC.

The winner will play the winners of the other pool in the Eastern conference to see who progresses to the ACC final playoffs from the East.

All China Cup (ACC) 2019-2020

The ACC will be contested by the winners of the regional cups in China with the winners of the North, South, East and West, playing each other in the semi-finals in April / May 2020. The winners of east, north and south will automatically go to the ACC cup semi-finals.

The final spot will be decided by a 15s tournament in March in Chongqing – featuring the CQ Rangers, and the second-place team from the East, North and South. The West division has the least number of teams competing.
