The Bangkok Touch Tournament 2023 returns for a second time and will be held on Saturday 4th November (and possibly the 5th of November depending on the number of teams entered) at Bangkok Patana School.
Interested touch rugby teams can register interest until 7th October in the Mixed Open, Women’s Open, or Men’s Open Divisions at a cost of 10,000 Baht (approximately USD $280)
The organisers said based on the responses: “Please note that if we have a large number of teams, we may extend to a 2-day tournament, and will communicate this accordingly.”
They are optimistic about getting enough teams for at least the one-day FIT event but are hopeful enough teams express an interest in running the Bangkok Touch Tournament 2023 for two days.
Touch Rugby Bangkok also told Rugby Asia 247 “We expect to have a great fun day of playing competitive touch – then having a drink after at the Clubhouse then a night out in Bangkok!”
The sevens and social rugby 7s and tens season is truly underway across the region as there are a number of fun tournaments in Southeast Asia from now until December 2023.
