The Bangkok International Rugby Sevens have confirmed their dates for 2019 as November 9-10 following the initial announcement in April.
This means the tournament is the same weekend as the SCC 7s in Singapore and the Cobra 10s in Malaysia, leaving rugby fans in Asia with plenty of rugby on one weekend!
The latest announcement from the Bangkok 7s said:
“We have been meeting and planning with all of our Sponsors & Suppliers this week and it is great to welcome every one of our Suppliers & Sponsors back for 2019. We can confirm The Bangkok Lotus Hotel as the Tournament Hotel, Bistro 33 as our caterer and opening event venue, Bangkok Patana School Sports Complex with their magnificent and pristine pitches and facility. Xtreme Rugbywear as our sponsor & supplier of clothing & apparel. Sportsnow as our draws supplier. Tiger Beer as our beer of choice. Pepsi for their support with water and tables, umbrellas etc. The team at FlowNation for their innovative ideas & support. And the generosity of Hart Biologicals and specifically Alby & Lynne Pattison as our main sponsor. Alby & Lynne are active sponsors and give so much support and mentoring behind the scenes it has to be remarked upon as it is so helpful to the tournament.”
The organisers have said that emails will be sent out shortly to interested rugby teams and clubs.
