Bali 10s 2022 Fills Up in Record Time
The demand for the return to rugby in Asia is very strong, as the Bali 10s 2022 filled all of its team slots within hours of opening its expression of interest on 28th October 2021.

There were very few confirmed social rugby tournaments in Asia when the Bali Tens 2022 was announced, but borders internationally have been opening across the region and globally. The Bali 10s opened up entries for the Open Men’s, Women’s and Vets and on the same day confirmed: “We are pleased to announce that all positions are full for the Bali 10s on October 15-16 2022″.
Bali Rugby Club has been hosting the Bali 10’s Rugby tournament every year since 2009 and Bali Chillis are a representative rugby team of Bali Rugby Club.
Bali Rugby Club has since confirmed they are hosting the Bali 10’s tournament this year (2022) under the supervision of Indonesia Rugby.
Over the years, this Indonesian-based rugby club has attracted a number of high-profile rugby players to join events. These include:
- Malakai Fekitoa (All Black)
- Sonny Bill Williams (All Blacks)
- Richie Mounga (All Blacks)
- Marlon Yarde (England)
The rugby team slots for 2022 include 24 Open Men, 14 Women, and 10 Vets teams from New Zealand, Australia, and across Asia it was previously posted on the events Facebook page.
