Asia Rugby U20 Sevens 2019
The Asia Rugby U20 Sevens 2019 is the next major national team 7’s tournament to take place in the region, this time in Vientiane, Laos. Both the Men and Women will contest the Under titles in Laos.
The rugby tournament is hosted by the Lao Rugby Federation.
Women’s Under 20 sevens rugby 2019
China won the title in 2018 which they won in Hong Kong, beating the hosts. There will be five women’s sevens rugby teams vying for the title in 2019, and it does not look as if China will be contesting the Under the 20s this year.
The national sides will play a round-robin of pool games before the top two sides compete for 1st place and the 3rd and 4th placed teams play for bronze.

Men’s Under 20 sevens rugby 2019
There are eight Under 20 teams involved in the Asia Rugby U20 Sevens 2019 tournament split into two pools. Hong Kong will be absolute favourites to win as they have held the title for the past 5 years.
Sri Lanka and Chinese Taipei won’t be back to compete in 2019, instead, Uzbekistan and Lao replace the two teams.
