Asia Rugby U18 Sevens Boys & Girls Championship 2022

Nepal is hosting the Asia Rugby U18 7s Boys and Girls Championship 2022 on December 10 & 11 at the Dasarath Stadium in Kathmandu.

This is the first international rugby championship to be held in Nepal in the history of Nepal Rugby, but sadly, there is still very little information available from Asia Rugby about the tournament (at the time of publishing) even though it starts in a few days’ time.

Asia Rugby U18 7s Boys & Girls Championship 2022 Teams

Both the boy’s and girls’ Nepali teams have been training at a closed camp in Hetauda confirmed by the Nepal Rugby Association which also announced that 8 Asian countries will participate in the competition and that 8 teams will play in the U18 Boys and national 5 teams for the U18 Girls.

We assumed all 8 countries are sending U18 Boys squads but there was confirmation of which 5 countries were playing in the U18 Girls. From social media, we confirmed that Thailand, India and Nepal are sending U18 Girls’ teams (the information has now been updated below).
