Asia Rugby Men’s Division 2 2022
Asia Rugby has confirmed that the Asia Rugby Men’s Division 2 2022 (men) will only feature Pakistan and Thailand, with the two national XVs teams playing a two-match series at Punjab Stadium, Lahore in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) recently announced the surprise appointment of Gert Mulder as Head Coach of the national team and the South African has been in Pakistan training with the national squad over the past month. he has several assistant coaches in M Babar, Umer Islam, Jahangir, and Shakeel.
The PRU announced on their social media that Hammad Safdar & Ahmed Waseem have been confirmed as Captain & Vice-Captain for the ARC DIV ii Championship.
Earlier in the week, the PRU had somewhat controversially posted on its official Facebook, in a rallying cry to its fans, “Let’s Fry the Thai” which has since been changed to “Let’s beat the Thai”.
There has been little available news from the Thailand Rugby Union.

The two matches obviously give the Pakistan Rugby Union home advantage
- Pakistan vs Thailand Game 1 – 29th May 7:30 PM (Local Time +5 GMT) (Result: Thailand won 20-15 over Pakistan)
- Pakistan vs Thailand Game 2 – 1st June 7:30 PM (Local Time +5 GMT)
