Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Series 2024 Bangkok
The final round of the Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Series 2024 takes place at Boonyachinda Stadium in Bangkok from 9-10 November with the Championship, HSBC Sevens Challenger qualification, and relegation to the Trophy Series all on the line.

The Hong Kong China men are in pole position having won both legs in Korea and China, while the Chinese women are in the same position being victorious across both legs.
Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Series 2024 Standings
We have been told all Series that the top two Men’s teams will earn qualification to the HSBC Sevens Challenger Series 2025, while for the Women it will be the top two aside from Japan and China as they are already in the SVNS Series.
In that case, China and Japan Men are in contention behind Hong Kong China, and are tied on 18 series points going into the final round (HKCR is on 24).
On the Women’s log, HKCR in 3rd have 17 Series points and are just ahead of Thailand in 4th (15 Series points). China Women are on top with 24 points and Japan Sakura 7s is in second with 18 points.
In the relegation battle, for the Men, Thailand is on 7 Series points, the UAE on 6 points, and Singapore on 2 points. For the Women, the UAE and Singapore are tied on 5 points and Malaysia is on 4 Series points heading into Bangkok.
* It should be noted these are based on our own calculations as Asia Rugby for whatever reason doesn’t send out the logs and points for the Series. The last provided table on their website is from 2022.
