The tournament in India will run concurrently to the Rugby World Cup in Japan.

However, in this past week, it was announced that Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPN) acquired the exclusive media rights for Rugby World Cup 2019 from the Rugby World Cup Limited (RWCL) in India.
This means that fans can watch the RWC on SONY TEN 2 & SONY TEN 2 HD across “India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and exclusive pay television and digital rights for Sri Lanka.”
