The All India & South Asia Rugby Tournament will be contested from the 21-28 September 2019 in Kolkata, India.

The rugby tournament has been played since 1924 and will see the top 12 Men’s club teams and top 8 Women’s rugby teams from India competing. This year the All India & South Asia Rugby Tournament will run the same time as the RWC 2019 in Japan.

The women’s division for the Indian rugby tournament was only introduced as recently as 2016.

The Odisha women’s team are the 2018 champions, having peviously won in 2016 and finishing 2nd in 2017.

The Indian national women’s 15 team won their first international test in the Asia Rugby Women’s Championship earlier this year and the men and women competed in the Sevens Trophy Series in 2019.
