2019 International Mixed Touch Championship Schedule

The 2019 International Mixed Touch Championship, which we confirmed in March, has announced the lineups and schedules for the championship. The Touch Rugby tournament takes place this coming week from the 2-4 August 2019.

ANZ International Touch Championship 2019

The 2019 ANZ International Touch Championship is the 14th edition of the touch rugby tournament.

Which teams are playing?

Teams in the Mixed and Women’s divisions come from the following countries:

• Hong Kong

• Todaks
• Fun Panda
• Buccaneer
• T8

Mixed Pool B

• Alliance
• MBFCix
• Guangxi Geckos
• Raven
• Phoenix

Women’s Pool

• Guangzhou Hualong
• Phoenix
• Thunder
• Hong Kong Select

In the 2018 edition, Hong Kong beat out Philippines and China to win the championship. Philippine club side Unleashed FC took home the Club Competition Cup beating HK club side T8.

A series of deaf rugby showcase games between Hong Kong and Japan Deaf Rugby teams have also been announced to take place during the Championships. On the 31st July 2019, the Hong Kong Deaf Team is also playing some a friendly 7s tournament leading up to the touch tournament.
